A Defence Veteran having served over 28 years with the Indian Air Force Accounts branch, he held a Board-Level position as Director Finance & CFO in a Govt of India Public Sector Undertaking, orchestrating a major turnaround from a sick unit to a company with Rs 3,000+ Cr turnover, Rs 1,700+ Cr net worth, and Rs 13,000+ Cr market capitalisation.

As Director Finance & CFO of a mid-sized Govt of India Public Sector Undertaking, Rajeev reported directly to the CMD and was accountable to the Audit Committee and Board for corporate finance:

- Managed SEBI & Stock Exchange compliances, 63+ GST registrations, CAPEX utilization of Rs 700+ Cr, and working capital Consortium Bank management exceeding Rs 4,200 Cr.

Rajeev has managed large-scale public sector budgets, EPC contracts, and military financial operations:
- Director (Public Sector Finance & Budget), Govt of India: Overseeing Capital & Revenue Budget of Rs 43,000 Cr, evaluating PSU investment proposals, M&As, and parliamentary Standing Committee briefs.
- 28+ Years Indian Air Force Accounts Branch Veteran: Handled capital budgeting, public procurement, payroll, and statutory compliances across multi-state military units.
- Project Finance Leadership: Managed major project finance for Defence projects (Rs 8,000 Cr) and BharatNet projects (Rs 7,000 Cr) across 10+ states and union territories.
- ERP Pioneer: Led Material Management ERP rollout across 125 sites with 17 million data entries within 6 months.
